Globe Telecoms iPhone 5 Plans for Postpaid and Prepaid

0Globe is set to release the Apple iPhone 5 next Friday, December 14 which, coincidentally is also Smart Communication’s iPhone 5 launch date.
Globe is pricing the prepaid iPhone 5 kit at Php35,400 for the cheapest, 16GB version while it’s available for free via PostPaid Plan 2499. You may also avail of PostPaid Plan 1799, with a cashout of 4,800 if you’re a bit tight on the monthly budget. Incidentally, the postpaid plans are similar to Globe’s pricing when they launched the Galaxy SIII on their network as well as the Galaxy Note II.

Owners of affiliated credit cards (Allied Bank, BDO, BPI, Citibank, East West Bank, HSBC, Metrobank/PS Bank, RCBC/Bankard, Security Bank/Diners Club, and Union Bank) can avail of the iPhone 5 with a 0% interest plan for up to 24 months. Existing subscribers can upgrade to the iPhone 5 if they wish as Globe is allowing postpaid users to “reset” their contract and get as much as 72% discount when you switch to the iPhone 5. Other perks include 4 month insurance for your phone and 50% on Globe sold iPhone 5 accessories until the end of the year.
