Sometimes you need to clear your browser’s cache, history and cookies occasionally or whenever you want to improve your browser’s speed and performance.

In this brief tutorial I’ll show you how to clear the browsing history, the Safari cache and cookie files in Safari for the iPad.

  1. Select Settings from your iPad home screen.

  2. Select Safari from the Settings column on the left. Towards the bottom of the Safari column you’ll see 3 buttons – Clear History, Clear Cookies and Clear Cache. Tap any of the 3 to perform that action.

  3. You’ll be prompted with a confirmation window. Tap the Clear button.

  4. Repeat the above steps until each item (cache, history and cookies) have been cleared.
