Kick-Ass!

So are you ready to kick some ass yet again? Well, we sure hope you are! If you are, then it is about time you take your super hero tights out of the closet and get ready to don your super gear once more as Mark Miller’s action packed super hero comic series turned movie is set to be taken to the silver screen for another action packed movie! That is right, you read it right – it surely is getting a sequel. Mark Miller’s Kick-Ass is set to get its sequel and the production has been green lit!

If you remember that chic movie about super heroes in one town kicking it out, you would probably remember the little girl that kicked some major ass in the form of Hit-Girl with the rest of the gang and of course, the title character himself Dave, also known as Kick-ass – the teenager who was kicking some serious butt! Well with all that excitement and gushing over, you might also remember that the movie really did not become quite a blockbuster, ranking a little low for a comic book turned movie. So why the sudden announcement of a sequel? Well, reports say that the recent figures relating to the DVD releases not only have convince the producers and the creator of the hit comic himself, but also sealed the deal for another rendition of the movie to be made. The impressive DVD sales have convinced everyone that it was a franchise that was worth expanding so it is a merry, merry day for all Kick-Ass fans!

Kick-Ass was first seen on the silver screen on March 2010 on its opening in the US theaters followed shortly by the UK release on April 2010. Details regarding the sequel are yet to be announced but we are hoping to get a taste of that massive comic action once again!
