A leaked slide purportedly unveils the next generation of Nvidia’s mobile chipset.  The Tegra 4 will apparently offer with a  72-core graphics setup built using Nvidia’s 28nm process– a hardware boost that might give Samsung’s and Qualcomm’s offerings a run for their money.  In comparison, Nvidia’s current Tegra 3 offerings has only 12 cores for it’s GPU,

Aside from the boosted GPU, the Tegra 4 is also said to be capable of running  displays of up to 2,560 x 1600, with 1080p output at 120Hz with support for DirectX 11+, OpenGL 4.X, and PhysX.  The slide also mentioned support for DDR3L alongside USB 3.0.  Nvidia of course has yet to confirm these details but we’ll just have to wait until next year’s MWC to see if and when the chipset is set to debut.
