The Grand Opening Ceremony the FIFA World Cup 2010 is anything but grand, with 1,581 performers from around the world. Among them TKZee, Alicia Keys and the Black Eyed Peas and of course who could forget, Shakira who performed the official 2010 World Cup song, “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)”, alongside a local South African group Freshlyground.

Proceeds of the grand opening concert will go to “20 Centres for 2010”, a fund that aims to build 20 centers across Africa for the betterment of Africans in general.
